Sunset in Seattle
The Seattle sunset. HEIT is now based out of Seattle, Washington.

Hello again!

I haven't used this mailing list in quite some time; Higher Education IT Management has been dormant until the last month or so. So, it won't offend me at all if you unsubscribe! The purpose of this list is to share tips, tricks, and happenings about IT project management, IT service management, IT governance, and IT process improvement. Please expect a message every month or so.

The core focus of Higher Education IT Management is capability development: helping people and institutions get better at how they manage IT, in order to make people's lives easier. To that end, I would love to hear from you about topics that matter to you. Are you trying to build an IT governance structure? Do you need to know how project management and release management work together? Do you need a way to educate your department? Your feedback will guide new blog posts and other content.

The ways I'm trying to help right now are through the blog, open-source IT templates, links to service catalog examples, book recommendations, and links to other resources. I'm looking for other ways to help, for example by building training videos or even writing a book. I'm also available for one-on-one coaching: as a newsletter special, feel free to sign up via the scheduler if you're interested in a free hour of coaching!
