BEC announces a new initiative for innovative projects created by expats – “Expats for Brno”. We'd like to increase public awareness of the foreign community in Brno among the general public. Create something you're passionate about – e.g. a workshop, concert, exhibition, web, set of photographs, music video, blog, theatre performance – and we'll support you with up to 10,000 CZK. Submit your applications October 31.

On Sep 15 from 4 pm we are celebrating a recent reconstruction and new air-conditioning of our shop on Moravské náměstí 4. In Mikrofarma Butcher's you can taste homemade products made of farmers meat; the bistro will be serving our delicacies outside, too! Wine by glass, draft beer, outside seating, and live jazz from 6 pm.

La Bouchée is closing the summer stage and re-opening restaurant
On Sep 22 from 5 pm, come say goodbye to our summer grill stage in the beautiful Open Garden on Údolní street. Free entry, music, BBQ prepared from first-class regional ingredients, and wine by glass. On Sep 30 from 7 pm we're celebrating the beginning of our restaurant's 10th season with a sommeliers battle.

National theatre Brno: open-air concert + fashion market

Critical mass Brno - bike ride

How to escape a traffic jam? Ride a bicycle! Express that there is a need for a safe space for bikers, and get a saddle cover and reflexive slap band as a gift. The route is 6,4 km long and family friendly.
