Revolutionary Change in Czech Civil Law
At the beginning of the year the new Czech Civic Code has been introduced. Have a read about what impacts it has on expats living in the Czech Republic. The first article from Deloitte on this topic deals with various areas of everyday life such as moral rights, family law, and inheritance law. Did you - for example - know that you now need a person’s approval not only when you want to publish a photo, but also before taking it?

Food Corner: Manhattan Foodie's Guide to Brno
Foodies of Brno, rejoice! There is a new category on our website's blog called Food Corner. We are happy to welcome a born and raised New Yorker Michael Fried (or Míša Smažák as he likes to dub himself in Czech) aboard. He will regularly introduce his guide of the restaurant, café and food shop scene in Brno.
