BEC Seminar: Healthcare and medical services

 Doctors and experts on health insurance and vaccinations will be discussing the specifics of Czech healthcare system, health insurance for expats as well as problems with finding medical assistance when foreigners do not speak Czech. Whether you are an employee or a freelancer, EU resident or not, have public or private health insurance, we will provide valuable information. Please sign up for the event. Refreshment and Moravian wine provided.

 Public lecture - Black lives matter: recent racial protests in the US

Paul Von Blum, a senior lecturer at UCLA, will explore the impact of the recent protests following the police killings of several unarmed black persons, historical roots of African American distrust of police and importance of raising public consciousness about the problems of continuing racism in America.

An event devoted to the guitarist Django Reinhardt that will transform the Alliance francaise into a dance club. Open to all lovers of swing and gypsy jazz. You can experience retro atmosphere, a swing dance lesson and a photo booth in the style of 1930s. Entrance fee 60 CZK.
