At last - spring is in the air! Now is the perfect time to make plans for outdoor learning at <<School>>  and perhaps for achieving your next Eco-Schools award before the end of the school year. 
  • Congratulations! St Marks Primary and Longhill have both achieved their Bronze Eco-Schools awards!
  • BHee Wildlife workshops: contact Katie NOW to book for the summer term. Workshops are customised to suit your class, and can take place in your school grounds or a local green space. More info.
  • Travel grants: for BHee Wildlife workshops at Stanmer Park, Ditchling Beacon or Castle Hill, travel grants will soon be available from the South Downs National Park. Keep an eye on their website to ensure you get your share of the funding before it runs out! More info.
  • Infra-red camera: contact Katie to borrow the BHee  infra-red camera to discover the wildlife using your school grounds at night. Perfect to link with topics on habitats and nocturnal animals.
  • LESS CO2:  a great opportunity to involve the whole school in saving energy, reducing your school's carbon footprint and saving money. There are still a few places available on this FREE project run by Ashden.  More info or contact Helen.
  • Project Wild Thing: BACA is hosting a FREE screening of this inspiring film on 26th March. More info.
  • Eco-Schools: whether you're just getting started, want to revitalise your Eco-Schools work, or are planning for your Green Flag award, contact Helen for advice and support.
  • Our Water Matters: it's not too late to register for the launch of these new resources which investigate our local water cycle.19th March, Moulsecoomb Primary School. More info.
  • Online resources: don't forget the wide range of downloadable resources available on the BHee website. We've recently added some great presentations with stunning photos of the wildlife and habitats of Brighton & Hove. More info
