Michigan Lean Consortium and Mercy Health Muskegon have partnered to provide a Healthcare Kata Practitioner training event on October 27, 2017 at Mercy Health Muskegon (tentative time 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm). We are currently looking for presenters and we thank you for considering to volunteer your time and expertise.
We are looking to hear from practitioners regarding their experience building proficiency among kata learners and coaches. Please present the challenges and successes you experienced in specific storyboards regarding the development of challenges, actual and target conditions, obstacle parking lots and PDCA Cycles.
Presentations should be technical and specific in nature. A learning objective is for participants to understand the specific coaching behaviors and tactics that were used to overcome obstacles such as lack of learner interest, poor quality or infrequent experiments, challenges that don't include a business objective, lack of coaches, lack of clarifying questions from coaches, target conditions without a process map, etc.
Please provide information about your tactical movement from grass roots understanding to organizational adoption and implementation of kata for problem-solving.
