SPOTLIGHT ALUMNI WE WOULD LIKE TO SHOW

Maureen Reidy Witt
Maureen Reidy Witt graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 1980.  Upon graduation, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. McWilliams on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Maureen joined Holland & Hart in 1981 and has been a civil trial lawyer at the firm for the past thirty-one years, engaging in a wide variety of commercial litigation with a focus on products liability and employment defense.  After becoming a partner at Holland & Hart in 1987, she assumed the role of Managing Partner from 1988 through 1991, when her twins were born.  Maureen also served a three-year term on the Management Committee at Holland & Hart from 2004 through 2006 and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, as a Colorado Super Lawyer Top 25 and Top 50 Women Lawyers, and instructs annually at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. While practicing law, Maureen raised four children, Brendan, Parker, Emily, and Madeleine, who is now a freshman at Notre Dame.  She has served on the Board of the Notre Dame Law Association since 2008 and is currently the Chair of the Order of St. Thomas More. Maureen loved every minute of her time at Notre Dame Law School (except Tax).
Tim Fiorta
After graduating from Notre Dame Law School in 2009, Tim Fiorta joined the Cleveland office of Jones Day, where he currently is an associate in the firm's Business and Tort Litigation group.  Over the past three years, he has been a member of seven trial teams in cases tried to verdict. Tim's wife, Catherine, is a CPA at Skoda Minotti, and the happy couple reside in Mentor, Ohio.  They were married in August 2012, and Paul Pogge (NDLS 2009) was a member of the wedding party. Tim looks forward to returning to campus in the fall to be part of another undefeated Irish football season.
