Welcome to G2Z e-News #3
Getting 2 Zero

Welcome to the third edition of G2Z e-News!

Apologies - there was an issue with the Summit booking link on the previous e-News circulated. The link below is the correct link.

Christmas and New Year are far behind us already and we are hopefully on the downhill run to the end of kitten season.

5th National G2Z Summit
We are excited to announce that the 5th National G2Z Summit will take place this year on 11-13 September and at a brand new venue!
The Outrigger Surfers Paradise is located in View Avenue, just 3 streets away from our previous venue and even closer to the prime beach and eating spots of the Gold Coast. The Outrigger has welcomed us with open arms and a fantastic accommodation and conference package to boot.
We are in the process of securing our international speakers so rest assured we will have industry leaders covering organisational management, animal management, shelter medicine and behaviour and rehabilitation. The other exciting news is that you can book everything online this year!
It is recommended that at least two people from your organisation attend in order to effectively bring back everything that they have learnt to the team for implementation.
We are also planning more in-depth Workshops to take place the day before and the day after the Summit as these were so popular in 2011.
As always we have kept the costs to an absolute minimum to ensure that as many people as possible can attend. Get in early and book your places for the Summit by visiting here
Early bird bookings close 15/7/13.

Who's talking about G2Z?
G2Z has been on the political radar recently as Alex Greenwich, State Member for Sydney (the seat previously held by Clover Moore) featured the program in his recent e-news which can be found here
Clover Moore is currently the Mayor of Sydney so G2Z has some very good allies in this city!

G2Z Submissions
Did you know that G2Z responds to calls for comments and invitations to submit on all that is relevant to companion animal welfare?
If you hear about legislation reviews, management plans being drafted or anything else that you think we should respond to please let us know.

A big welcome to Geelong Animal Welfare Society, Gosford Dog Paws, Rescued With Love, Death Row Pets, Moorabool Shire Council and Companion Animal Welfare Society who have all become G2Z participants and are listed in the G2Z Directory on the website.
These groups are saving lives daily in a huge variety of ways. Make sure your group is listed in the Directory too by contacting us.
