We are very happy to announce that Purina have once again decided to support the G2Z Summit and are our Platinum sponsors for 2015.
Nestlé Purina PetCare is proud to partner with G2Z for the 6th National G2Z Summit “Reaching Out To The Community”.
At Nestlé Purina PetCare we understand and share the strong feelings of love and respect pet owners have for their companion animals. Because most of us are pet owners too, the welfare of dogs and cats is our top priority - it has been our focus for over 80 years and continues to drive everything we do.
For us, the world of pet welfare goes beyond shelter walls and into rethinking what we can do to create a better world for pets and the people who love them. As a company guided by a passion for pets, we're committed to using our scale to work shoulder to shoulder with pet welfare experts, to inspire pet lovers to get more involved, to change perceptions of shelter pets and to create more powerful bonds between pets and people.
As well as our support of organisations such as Animal Welfare League Australia, our concern for of the welfare of cats and dogs is reflected in other activities such as the operation of our Petcare Advice line providing free advice to animal owners and our involvement in the development of an Australian Standard aimed at ensuring the safety of manufactured dog and cat food products.
Our quest to drive pet welfare forward leads to our hope that this Summit and its Workshops will result in industry-leading approaches to dealing with companion animal welfare and prevent the abandonment and unnecessary euthanasia of companion animals in the future. As the world’s leading petcare company, we stand ready to help.
