 are running their own, Great Britain wide 'What is, What if, What next?' project over the next three months. As the first step of this Transition: Bounce Forward project you are invited to a series of four online 'What Is' events from 7th-10th September.  This will be followed by further sessions in October and November, which willl be looking at What If and What Next. Carbon Conversations are about getting together with a small group of our friends/neighbours/colleagues in a safe and well supported space to help us reflect on and face our complex reactions to climate breakdown and to start taking practical steps that can make a difference. 
Some Taster Sessions are now scheduled for the last week in September

Mon. 7 Sept.: East Lothian Farming and Climate Emergency
7.30 - 9.30pm by Zoom

Hosted by East Lothian Green Party, this public meeting will discuss how East Lothian farming should adapt to the climate emergency. With an expert panel of:
  • Sheila George, WWF
  • Angus Jeffrey, local farmer and ex NFU East Lothian chair
  • Colin Hunter, local farmer practising conservation agriculture
  • Mark Ruskell, MSP, Green spokesperson on agriculture.
There will be lots of opportunity for discussion and questions.
