East Lothian Council and the Climate Emergency
ELC are asking for responses to their 'Draft Climate Change Strategy'.
Please do make time to do this as soon as possible!
We are calling for the Council to prepare a much bolder and more ambitious Emergency Response Plan appropriate for the global crisis that we now face.
See HERE for a link to the consultation and some of the Key Points that we will be making in our own response. Let's put pressure on the Council to show some real leadership.
Please don't delay. The consultation closes on 22nd July. Even a very brief response will help.

The Unruly Mystic

'Muir valued nature for its spiritual and transcendental qualities, referring to wild nature as places for rest, inspiration, and prayer, and he encouraged everyone to experience nature for its spiritual nourishment. This movie is a personal and an inspirational journey about how the filmmaker and others reaffirm their appreciation of nature through the revolutionary writings of John Muir, and by spending time in nature as Muir advocated.'
