2022 is coming to a close, and as we look back on the many successes of the past year we also look towards the challenges of next year. As we know, climate change is worsening with every year we delay action. There is no time to waste, and Acadia Center is forging ahead on clean energy solutions.

In 2023, Acadia Center will strive to ensure that the Inflation Reduction Act funds are used in the most efficient and equitable way. We’ll bring our RESPECT model of how utility planning and state oversight can align the energy system with climate, consumer and equity goals to more states, expanding on recent successes. We’ll create and partner with diverse coalitions to bring clean energy to all communities. And we’ll continue to collaborate with and challenge state, regional, and national energy operators to ensure they prioritize clean energy and equity.

However, these important steps forward are only possible through the support of our community members like you. Today, I’m asking you to help us prepare for our 2023 fight and make a gift to Acadia Center today.
