June 11-15, 2013: Reorganization of Polo's Unpublished Works

The University of Navarre in cooperation with the Instituto de Estudios Filósoficos Leonardo Polo has updated and reorganized the archives of Leonardo Polo's unpublished works as preparation for the publication of his Complete Works.

April 10, 2013: Seminar on Metaphysics and Anthropology (Rome)

The School of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome) organized a one day seminar on the topic "Metaphysica-Anthropological Thought in Context of Contemporary Philosophy". In his presentation, Prof. Sanguineti refers to Polo as inspiration for his considerations regarding the role of habitual knowledge in a correct metaphysical methodology.

May 24-25, 2013: 3rd Castilian Study Workshop of the IELP

The Instituto de Estudios Filósficos Leonardo Polo held its 3rd Castillian Study Workshop from May 24 to May 25, 2013 in Toledo, Spain. The topic for this year was "Perspectives of Polo's Philosophy in the Year of his Death".

May 20, 2013: Academic Act in Memory of Leonardo Polo (University of Navarre, Spain)

The University of Navarre held an Academic Act honoring the memory of Leonardo Polo on May 20, 2013. The session was presided over by Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, Rector of the University. Interventions were presented by

The Access to Being was first published in 1964.
In this work Polo presents his notion of the mental limit, and outlines a theory of knowledge that corresponds with it. Polo then puts forward his philosophical proposal: the abandonment of the mental limit.
