photo of speaker Collett MitchellCollett Mitchell RN, BSN -Collett has worked in loss control with a variety of occupations ranging from casinos, cabinetry manufacturers, water and power plants, truck driving, hospitals and nursing homes. Her history of involvement with these occupations included injury investigation and management, blood-borne pathogen exposure prevention, treatment and counseling. Education has been a large part of her career covering multiple health care topics related to wellness and safety. She is very well-versed in safe patient handling, and provides training on the topic to staff and clients. She is a member of the Association of Safe Patient Handling Professionals. Collett completed her education at the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and Bellin College of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 from Bellin College.
