Activities for HIIN Success:

  • Print your current work plan on the HEN database and start to update the information to prepare it for the HIIN database work plan.
  • Get familiar with the HIIN Measures and HIIN toolkit.
  • Distribute the toolkit to the team members involved in each measure. Ensure that they are familiar with the measure and the resources available.
  • Participate in the Wednesday Zoom meetings, What’s Up Call and HAI and Falls Prevention Community of Practices.
  • Participate on HIINovation. This is where you will find all registration links and new information for Compass HIIN.

  • Schedule a site visit with your Improvement Advisor in the next few months.
Thank you all for your continued commitment to improving patient safety and healthcare quality. We look forward to working with you throughout the next three years.
Have you started on your Work Plan?
The Work Plan is intended to capture current work as it is implemented in your hospital.  The Compass HIIN project is about deploying best practices and spreading the successes to drive improvement. The Work Plan will be completed on the HIIN Reporting Database once it is made available, but for now, you can start my filling out the preparation template below:
