This June Step up to the Challenge for Mental Health!

Mental health concerns are on the rise throughout the general population; couple together the mental health affects of the pandemic and then add a cancer diagnosis or cancer treatment, you can imagine the stress and mental health issues that ensue.

Hopeeriffic Giving Challenge at HopeSpring. How Can You Help?

June is the Great Canadian Giving Challenge (June 1-30) and our goal to provide much-needed funds for our cancer care counselling services. Our goal is to raise $2500, or over 60 hours of much-needed cancer care counselling.

Cancer, Mental Health and Counselling

At HopeSpring, we provide counselling FREE for our cancer patients, families and caregivers. A cancer diagnosis can affect the emotional health of all involved on the cancer journey. Common feelings during this life-changing experience include anxiety, distress, and depression. Roles at home, school, and work can be affected. It's important to recognize these changes and get help when needed.

So Just What is the Great Canadian Giving Challenge?

Your donation to support this fundraising initiative would be two-fold. Here's how, from June 1st to 30th, every $1 donated to HopeSpring's mental health initiative via our giving partner, would give HopeSpring a chance to win a $20,000* donation. A $20,000 would offer over 500 hours of cancer care counselling or almost a year's worth of services.

Please consider a donation, every dollar counts. Ahead of time we thank you for your supportYou are making a difference in our community.

The Team at HopeSpring

P.S.The winning charity will be announced on Canada Day, July 1st.

Share Your Story

YOUR STORY MATTERS. We want to give our community a deeper understanding of how this past year has been especially challenging and isolating of our cancer patients. If you are comfortable doing so, we would be incredibly honoured if you shared how you have found inspiration in your cancer journey.

Thanks so much for sharing your HopeSpring story K.P. . The team are happy to assist you in your cancer journey.
This is a very traumatic time in my life going through breast cancer and Hope Springs has been there for me in more ways than I can explain. Nohelia has been amazing, taking her time to assist me to find the right wig to wear as this is the first time I have ever experienced this. The wig is top quality and I have received several compliments.
I have seen first hand where all the generous donations go and how extremely important they are. My mom is in a home and I have tried to keep my cancer news from her as she doesn’t need to worry. This news would traumatize her. I was able to visit her in a safe environment with my wig and she didn’t notice a difference. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I like other women going through cancer really need and appreciate all Hope Springs does.
Warm Regards
