2016 Colloquium for
Undergraduate & Graduate Students

Co-Sponsored program with Liberty Fund, Inc.

Applications Now Open

We are once again recruiting undergraduate and graduate students for PERC’s summer colloquium. We ask for your help in identifying qualified students for this program.
The colloquium “Property Rights, Markets, and Freedom” is co-sponsored with Liberty Fund, Inc., and will be held June 21-26, 2016, at the Holiday Inn Express in Bozeman, Montana.

As you may know, the colloquium is designed to introduce undergraduate students to a property rights and market approach to environmental issues. The colloquium is a combination of lectures and Socratic style discussions of assigned readings that address specific themes.

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship for tuition, meals, lodging, and a travel stipend of $500.

While it is helpful if the students are familiar with basic economic principles, we encourage non-economics majors to also apply. Students can apply online at The deadline for submitting applications is March 10, 2016, but we encourage students to apply as soon as possible.

If you have further questions about the program, please contact me at or PERC's Conference Coordinator, Colleen Lane at
Please pass this information on to interested students. Thank you.
