Christmas Ministry Opportunities
Rainbow Village
Our Angel Tree will benefit the ministry of Rainbow Village. After the New  Year, Rainbow Village will be opening 12 new apartment homes for homeless families.   Each  of these new apartments needs to be stocked with furniture and other essential items for the families before they arrive. Rainbow Village has a registry at Target and Walmart for the items needed for these apartments. In addition to the registry items,  there will also be an option for you to donate money, which goes to the purchase of MC/Visa gifts cards for Parkway’s sponsored family. The goal amount for the gifts cards   is $400, which is equivalent to $100  per family member.  If you would like to donate for the gift cards, please place your donation  in the offering plate clearly labeled as gift  card donation for Rainbow Village. If you are writing a check, please make the check payable to Parkway Baptist Church as the church will purchase the gift cards.
Norcross Cooperative Ministry

This Christmas we are also collecting toys and gift cards for Norcross Cooperative Ministry. Here are suggestions for new, unwrapped toys to be donated:  craft sets,  Legos, board games, bath/body sets, remote control cars. NCM also is asking for $25 Kroger gift cards for families to buy a ham or turkey at Christmas.  There are also volunteer opportunities available for NCM. For more information on time and dates,  email the following:
Developmental Disabilities Ministries
For Christmas, DDM will also be collecting Kroger and Walmart gift cards for the residents to purchase food and groceries. They will also be accepting donations of the following items: paper products, cleaning supplies, and toiletries for the homes.
Please make sure that the ministry for which you are donating is clearly marked on your gift or donation.
