Raising The Roof 

We Need You!

 

We need your help to keep veterans safe and dry in our Veterans Dormitory at the Village Arts Factory. The roof in one of the back bedrooms has begun to leak. The water has ruined the ceiling and light fixture. Until this problem is fixed, we cannot house any veterans in that room. Two gentlemen currently do call the historic veterans' dormitory home. There are 3,800 homeless vets in the state of Michigan. With your help, we can give more veterans a safe, dry place to sleep. Raising the funds for this project is a small part of our larger Go Fund Me campaign that will help us meet our financial obligations in 2022 and help us continue with community programming. From Everyone at The Village Arts Factory!

As 2021 draws to a close, we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. We have a lot of fun programs and fundraisers planned for 2022:
 Back by popular demand, donate at least $15, and one of our Village Arts Factory artists will create an original work of art for your Valentine and mail it to them with your custom Valentine message.
   Channel your inner artist and find a plant for your garden that you can't buy at big chain stores during "Perennials, Pottery, Paint and More" scheduled for spring of 2022. 
   Our popular summer concert series "Concerts and Cars" will return for groovin' family fun under the sun.

We have a few surprises in store at the Village Arts Factory for 2022 that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Deck The Paws

Toby and his owners are the lucky winners of our “Christmas In The Village” Pet Photo Contest. Pet owners were asked to send in photos of their furry loved ones dressed in holiday outfits or doing their favorite holiday activities. Of the 19 entries, Toby received the most votes from guests at the “Christmas In The Village” holiday event this past weekend. Toby’s humans will receive a $50 gift certificate to a Canton Pet Store. Thank you to everyone who sent in a photo of their furry friend and voted in the contest.

Pizzas for The Partnership

On January 22, 2022, between 4pm-8pm, Genova Pizza on Ford Rd. in Canton will be donating 20% of all sales to the Partnership. This fundraiser is good for dine-in or carry-out.  It’s also super convenient to place your order online ( www.genovapizzeria.com ) and set up a pickup time as well. So spread the word and help us raise some much-needed funds for the Village Arts Factory!
