April Showers Bring Art

We are so excited to tell you about Art in Bloom, the handmade artisan market that's happening on April 17th and April 18th. There is no charge for this event but there are some rules surrounding the event. Please register ahead online for the day you're interested in to keep the event safe. To register for the 17th click here. To register for the 18th click here. To prevent large crowds, please wait in your car until it is your registered time to enter the building.

Once your time has arrived, please approach the registration table with your group. Your temperature will be taken before you will be allowed inside, anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or greater will not be allowed in the building.  If anyone who is a part of your group is not feeling well, please stay home. Everyone inside of the building must wear a face covering at all times. Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the show to make sure your hands stay clean.  Also, be sure to stay 6 feet away from people who are not in your group and move through the building in one direction. Don't worry, we promise that you will get to visit every artist's booth during your visit and you can always go back to a booth to make a purchase.

Don't forget to register to ensure that you get the time you want and we can't wait to see you there!

Speaking up for the Arts

There is no denying that the unexpected loss of revenue and employment for people in the arts community over the past year due to COVID-19 threatens everything the VAF stands for. We urge you to help support the amazing arts community in Southeast Michigan by clicking here to let our legislators know that you think the arts are important.
