Gratitude & Thanksgiving for Blessings
2017 has been a year filled with adventure and new beginnings and I've been reflecting upon how blessed I am. I invite you to think about all that you have manifested as you begin to enter this holiday season. I am so incredibly amazed at what you can achieve when you set your mind to it. Here were a few of my thoughts today:
VISION BOARDING: Each year I create a Vision Board to capture my desires and help me manifest my goals. Since I have had so much success with this practice, I have decided to offer a Vision Board Workshop on Saturday, January 6th in Baltimore to teach other women how Vision Boarding works. I'll be sending out more details next month so stay tuned. I'd like to have 40 attendees so bring a friend!
EXECUTIVE COACHING: This year I've spent time, money and energy to promote my first e-book The Brave Girl's Guide to Work That You Love at multiple events. This effort has resulted in more exposure, additional speaking engagements PLUS paid coaching clients in my eight module Package Your Magic program. I've watched these ladies transform before my eyes (in a short period of time). I am so grateful to the women who stepped forward and invested in themselves and said YES to their personal growth and development. My clients were committed and did the work required to get the new jobs they desired. I couldn't be prouder of them as they serve in new capacities sharing their gifts with the world. I am now opening up my calendar for 5 more women to work with privately at this level. If you are interested, you can contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if you are a good fit.
THE BENEFITS OF MENTORING: I am also humbled and honored to have received recognition earlier this year as one of Maryland' Top 100 Women award sponsored by The Daily Record, a leading business publication in Charm City. I understand from panel judges that a critical factor in being selected was that I had mentored so many other people through my university work at Notre Dame of Maryland and McDaniel College. Giving back to the next generation is important to me. In addition to coaching students and staff, this year I created a Digital Marketing and Social Media course and had 12 women participate at Notre Dame. Since 2011, I have created over 10 courses to train corporate communications and business students - I still can't believe how much content I have churned out! At the Maryland Insurance Administration, I've also hired a college intern to learn the marketing and communications ropes and she is soaring through her junior year at Towson University. Just last week, I spoke at my alma mater University of Baltimore in their backpacks to briefcases program. You can read all about it here:
What have you done this year to mentor and develop talent? I recommend you put it on your list for 2018, even if you take small steps.
INVESTING IN MY OWN GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT: Four programs that I participated in this year involved travel. I was blessed to go to Costa Rico, Mexico, North Carolina and New Orleans as part of group mastermind programs. [If you don't know what a mastermind is, read my blog post: http://tracyimm.com/whats-a-mastermind-group/
I got so much out of these programs that I have decided to lead one next year. I am in the process of developing my marketing material now and I am looking for 20 women to join me on this adventure. I am pricing the program in a way that more women can participate and benefit from my teachings. If you are interested or know of friends that might be interested, please let me know and have your friends sign up for my newsletter.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS: I have been blessed this year to speak in front of multiple organizations about leadership. I appreciate all of these opportunities and am seeking to do more of this type of work in the coming year. Thank you PKS & Company, IABC-Heritage Region, Maryland Insurance Administration for supporting these talks. I am looking forward to meeting with the Junior League of Baltimore and other groups in 2018. If you'd like me to speak, just let me know.
These are just a few of my many blessings and I look forward to a strong finish to 2017! I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving 2017 and appreciate your interest in my offerings.
