Hi Friend of Volunteer Park —
As neighbors of Volunteer Park, we are fortunate to have this green oasis in the middle of Seattle, a park that supports an incredible, diverse community of families, dog walkers, picnic enthusiasts, theatergoers, dahlia lovers, and more.
But our beloved park needs help. I’m writing to ask you for a donation to Volunteer Park Trust to help keep Volunteer Park a vibrant, safe, and beautiful place.
If you love parks as much as we do, you’ll want Volunteer Park to have
As a volunteer-driven non-profit, Volunteer Park Trust is working on all of these projects and more.
- Relaxing green spaces, with gardens free of litter and weeds
- Restoration and upkeep of its historic landscape
- Fun, free events for your whole family with safe access for the elderly or disabled
- A focus on the sustainable use of water and electricity
- A new, modern Amphitheater accommodating year-round music, plays, and even dance.
You may wonder why Seattle Parks & Recreation isn’t funding this work. Unfortunately, Parks has millions of dollars in backlogged maintenance costs and must spread their resources among all the parks. We need to contribute our time and our dollars if we want to maintain the park at its highest level and expand its potential.
As you can see Friend of Volunteer Park, we need your help. Please consider donating today to keep Volunteer Park the amazing urban oasis we all enjoy. Together, we can make a difference in the future of our park!
