CCC on the Move
As unemployment rates rise during this pandemic, food needs are already intensifying at alarming rates. The Howard County Food Access Group is reporting that we are already seeing a 150% increase in the last month. The Community Outreach and Engagement Team is inviting our church family to consider ways in which they could volunteer to meet some of these food needs.  We need volunteers to call families we have already interfaced with to check on their welfare and provide information on getting access to food for them and other families they know need food.  We need volunteers who are ready to help distribute ready-to-go boxes and/or bags of food to those in need.  If you are available to make phone calls, to spend a couple of hours doing food distribution in a safe manner, or just wish to be a part of the discussion please join us in a conference call on Sunday, May 24 at 10:30 am.   Conference call: 701-802-5255; Access code: 3672283

As you speak to residents of Howard County, please share the following information with anyone needing any of the services provided through the Howard County Community Organizations Active in Disaster:

Food Drive Donations
We have been able to forward your contributions to the Food Bank. Please continue to keep needy families in mind as you continue online giving. Use the Food Drive designation in our online giving to give a few dollars to alleviate hunger. Remember, no gift is too small and will be multiplied in the Master’s hands.
A special “Thank You” to all who contributed to our dinners for the Grassroots Crisis Center. We have committed to providing dinner on Sunday, May 31. We encourage every member to remain connected and to share any concerns, needs, emergencies with our leaders or someone else in the church family.

Thanks to our communications team for providing this link. If you have any questions related to getting your contributions to the church, please leave a message at 410-418-4340 and the treasurer will return your call.
