North County Climate Change Alliance Invites Lane Sharman to talk on the Roadblocks (and Remedies) to a Clean Energy Future.
When: Saturday Sept 19, Noon-2PM
Where: Vista Library MAP
There are economic and environmental imperatives requiring a clean energy future. San Diego can lead this future. To do so, San Diego municipalities, students, citizens, schools, business and SDG&E must find the common ground whereby a Community Energy Program can launch and offer a 100% clean energy choice. Urgent and intensive action today is essential to secure this future.
Here. For more about the talk.

Organizer: Bobby Kingins, Chapter Lead, North County Climate Change Alliance (Tri-City).

News Flash

SB 350 sets a 50% renewable energy target for California by 2030 and it was passed into law on Sept 11 by the legislature. SDG&E requested amendments to impede Community Energy programs in California and these amendments were significantly weakened but not eliminated.

Did you know? In 2014, SDG&E paid a single dividend of $200,000,000 to its parent, Sempra Energy.
