Come for our Adult Book Club which has lively discussions on a variety of genres. This month we are reading Gray Mountain by John Grisham about a downsized NYC lawyer who becomes a lawyer at a legal aid clinic in Virginia. Books are available at the front desk or we can order a copy if needed.

The Lorax Project

Storytime
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 A.M.
Storytime returns from its winter break on Tuesday, February 2nd. Storytime is a mix of crafts, stories, and music to help young children develop a love for reading. Parents and guardians can bring their 6-months to five-year-old children.
Tiny Explorers Tuesday, February 16, & Thursday, February 18 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Parents and Guardians come along with their children 6 months to 5 years old for a time to play and build using age-appropriate manipulatives. It is a great time of socialization and play. Lego Building

Our Lego building blocks and your creativity can only add up to lots of fun at the library. Join us and other Lego enthusiasts for an afternoon of building fun. Heart Art

Red Cross Fire Prevention Workshops
Fire Prevention Workshop
Tuesday, April 8
6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Justin Larson, Americorp/American Red Cross representative will teach us how to be prepared in case of fire in the home. Hands-on-fire prevention activities to reduce hazards in the home, identify fire safety equipment, learn emergency recognition steps and plan for the possibility of a fire will be included. Families please bring children 2nd grade and up to this event.
Pillowcase Project
Saturday, April 10
1:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Justin Larson, Americorp/American Red Cross representative, presents a workshop that teaches children the understanding of science hazards, practicing how to prepare for emergencies, and understand that by sharing what they have learned with family and friends, they can help create a prepared community. Pillowcases will be decorated to take home and use to pack their emergency items.
