LAKEWOOD HILLS 10TH ANNUAL GARAGE SALE
Check out the garage sales around the neighborhood this Saturday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m! It's not too late to sign your house up: email membership@cstreets.org by tomorrow (Friday) to participate.

LAKEWOOD HILLS KID-FRIENDLY FRONT PORCH SOCIAL
After the garage sale on Saturday, come on over to 7128 Casa Loma from 4 - 6 p.m. for a kid-friendly front porch social hosted by James & Lauryn Robison and Jeff & Michelle Arnold. Bring a bite or drink to share and a suit/swim diaper for the kids for some water fun! And if you'd like to host a Front Porch Social, let Alex Fergus know.
LAKEWOOD HILLS BOOK CLUB
Join us at Urban Vines on Monday, June 5 at 7 p.m. to discuss A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline. Summer is a great time for reading, so now's the perfect opportunity to come get some great suggestions on books to take on your summer vacation!
LAKEWOOD HILLS LADIES NIGHT OUT
This month's gathering will be at Melanie Gordon's home at 6954 Coronado Ave on June 15 from 8 - 10 p.m. All ladies in the neighborhood are welcome! Please bring a drink and/or snack to share and invite a friend or new neighbor. If you'd like to host Ladies Night, please let Melanie know.
ALLEY CLEAN-UP REMINDER
Please remember to take care of the alley behind your home. This makes it easier for neighbors with rear-facing driveways to get in and out. Take advantage of the city's (free) bulk trash pick-up on the third week of the month, and see full guidelines on our website. For any alley issues, call 311 or our code compliance officer, Jose Ruiz, at 214-316-5555 or jose.ruiz@dallascityhall.com.

PAMPEL FAMILY FUND
Our neighborhood continues to send thoughts and prayers to the Pampel family on Casa Loma as they renew their battle against Neuroblastoma with their four-year-old son, Sam. Friends of Lakewood (FOL) has set up a Pampel Family Fund as a way to help our neighbors in this time of need.

WOODROW MINI CHEER CAMP SIGN-UP
Woodrow Wilson's Cheerleaders are now accepting applications for this summer's popular Mini Cheer Camp (ages 5-12). The camp is from Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28 and is held at Woodrow Wilson High School. It's run by the JV and Varsity cheerleaders and features cheer routines, crafts, snacks, a camp t-shirt and an opportunity to cheer with the WWHS cheerleaders at a Woodrow football game during half-time!
