On March 27, 2021, 7 courageous women took the Amplify stage to have their voices heard to create ripples of change for women impacted by sexual assault and trafficking.
Helping Amplify to create those ripples is Ana Pincus, Anna Andersen and DOC LAND Films, who captured this momentous occasion on film so we could continue to expand the reach of these voices.
This past Sunday was the first time all seven speakers from Triumph Over Trafficking and Sexual Abuse came together, since they shared the Amplify stage back in 2021. We gathered for a very special and exciting reason - to view the documentary "The Journey" - directed and produced by Ana Pincus and filmed and edited by Anna Andersen.
"The Journey tells the story of three trafficked and sexual assault survivors who were part of the first group of women to go through the ninety-day Amplify Voices Program. The film follows these courageous women as they take steps to heal, find sisterhood, and learn to give voice to their trauma in a series of powerful and inspiring stage talks."
