The NAHCC extends a warm invitation to all filmmakers, actors, NaFF attendees and public to celebrate Hispanic films at the Alegria! The party starts at the Regal Green Hills Cinema, Theater 5 for the screening of Post Tenebras Lux at 6:30 PM. Following the film, everyone will gather at Alegria!
“Post Tenebras Lux,†from director Carlos Reygadas, winner of Best Director at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival for this film, tells the story of Juan and his urban family who live in the Mexican countryside. No one knows if these two worlds are complementary or if they will eliminate one another.
The Nashville Film Festival is showing 19 Hispanic-interest films this year! One filmmaker, of the 19, will win the Best Hispanic Film of 2013, an award co-sponsored each year by the Nashville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and NaFF.
