Climathon 2017 Brooklyn at the Urban Future Lab
Climathon is a global 24-hour climate change hackathon which will take place simultaneously in major cities around the world on 27 October 2017.
It brings together the challenges of the world’s cities with the people who have the passion and ability to solve them. Climathon attracts innovators, entrepreneurs, students and professionals to create innovative solutions to cities climate challenges.

Do you work in building operations or maintenance? Sign up for a training with the NYC Retrofit Accelerator and learn how to make ore informed decisions about how to operate your building more efficiently, reduce costs and increase resident comfort. There are three trainings coming up in November:
Heating & Air Sealing
November 1st & 2nd (2 days)
Registration fee: $50
How to test, repair, install and troubleshoot a variety of heating equipment and seal common air leaks.
Water Conservation & Plumbing
November 8 (1 day)
Registration fee: $25
How to repair water leaks, install water-conserving technologies, and assess energy and cost savings.
Energy Efficiency Electrical
November 9 (1 day)
Registration fee: $25
How to conduct lighting audits, perform basic retrofits, find efficient electrical appliances, and install control devices.
