We bought tickets! I have shared our excitement for our return to Nepal over the past few months, and now the day is finally arriving. Lord willing, we fly out April 27, 2022 to start our second term in Nepal. The final weeks in the States will be busy. We have a lot of packing to do and many goodbyes to say. We will spend our last full week attending orientation with our mission board. I also preach this Sunday at our sending church and teach a class at orientation. Please pray that God will use these last days to prepare us for the work he has called us to do. Please also be in prayer for 5 negative PCR tests prior to travel.
This past month was very busy as well. We were privileged to visit several more of our supporting churches. It encourages our family to know many people and churches pray for us and support us in such an incredible way. “Thank you” cannot be said enough for all you do for our family.
Lastly, we would like to Praise the Lord for his omnipresence. We are unable to be in all places at all times but he is not limited in this way. God is truly blessing the ministry in Nepal during our furlough. We are thrilled to hear reports of visitors in the churches and the gospel being preached by Nepalis. The Ray of Hope conference at Camp Refuge was also a great blessing to all the churches who attended. Over 100 people packed out the camp. We heard great reports of challenging preaching and an encouraging time of fellowship. Truly God is worthy to be praised!
