March 2021 Update
We had an exciting month of ministry in Kathmandu! At Camp Refuge, we hosted our first Marriage Retreat for the couples of Beginnings and Magadhi Baptist Church. It was a wonderful time coming together to learn what the Bible teaches about marriage, play games, and enjoy a special meal. A few of those in attendance were unbelievers we hope to see come to Christ through our ministries. In the future we plan to have an extended retreat over a few days.
We have many opportunities for ministry coming up as we prepare for our furlough. Two village trips are on the calendar in March and April. We will meet with believers in those villages and hold worship services.
Praise the Lord— the same group of children are returning to our Bible club each week. It is a joy to sing with them, teach the Word of God, and laugh and play as we enjoy this highlight of our week. We are asking God to allow us to reach the parents of these special kids with the Gospel.
It is hard to think about being away from our ministries and our brothers and sisters in Christ for a year. We trust the Lord will take care of them, equip them for the work, and encourage them in our absence. Our year away, we pray, will be a time of great growth for our churches and our family. Please pray with us that the work would go forward and souls would be saved. Also continue to pray for the Ray of Hope Conference that is coming up in just a couple of weeks as well. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord and our family!
