September 2021 Update
I would like to praise God for how good he has been to our family during this furlough. We thank Him for the time we have had with our parents and grandparents. It is their faithfulness to the Lord that first introduced Amber and me to the gospel. I know it is not easy on them while we are overseas, but I am thankful for their support in the work God has given us. We have also been blessed with the opportunity to send our kids to the Christian school Amber and I grew up in. They are having a great experience and are growing so much.
The Lord has also blessed us greatly as we travel and report to our supporting churches. We have been encouraged to see churches that have remained faithful to the Lord and His work despite the many challenges of the last few years. It has meant so much to our family to see the faces of those who have prayed for us during our six years on the field.
We are enjoying our time here, but we miss Nepal very much. This feeling has been intensified seeing that our churches have begun meeting in person for services once again. How we long to be with our people, praising the Lord and studying His word together! We know the second half of our furlough will fly by just like the first, and we will be reunited with our brothers and sisters in Christ before we know it. We will continue to enjoy the great blessings of being Stateside as we spend time with family, at our home church, and in many Jesus-loving churches as we travel.
