The BlackStar team would like to wish you a happy new year and winter season! Thanks to those who were able to join us for the Winter Solstice Jam and celebrate a successful 2019. We are so appreciative of our BlackStar family’s support throughout the year. As 2020 kicks off, we are asking for folks to contribute to our mission of celebrating the visual and storytelling traditions of the African diaspora and of global communities of color, showcasing films by black, brown and indigenous people from around the world.
Individual donations are crucial to our future as an institution. Your gift will ensure that we can pursue our larger objectives and continue supporting the annual festival as the well-regarded experience that it has become. Invest in us, today.
