CFS (2005) Limited DIMS Licence
CFS (2005) Limited wish to announce that on 2nd October 2015, we obtained our official licence to provide discretionary investment management services (DIMS). We are very proud that we are amongst the first in the industry to have a DIMS licence.

A DIMS is where we are authorised by our clients to make buy-sell decisions about their investment portfolio, often without needing to refer to them each time.  This should make it easier for our clients in that the day-to-day decisions can be made on their behalf and the performance and reporting standards ensure better protection for our clients.

If you have any queries in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact Mark O'Donnell on 0508 237 583 (0508 CFS LTD).

DO's and DON'Ts with Life Insurance
  • DO review your coverage annually.  Lifestyle changes such as marriage, divorce, births, deaths, moving house or job change may prompt a change in life insurance coverage, particularly as you get older.  An annual review ensures that you are always paying for just the amount of cover.
  • DON'T cancel an existing policy without discussing it with your Adviser. You may have a problem getting replacement cover due to medical issues that have developed since the original policy was taken out or it may be convertible into a much more attractive option.
  • DON'T purchase a policy unless you understand the concept and clauses within it.  Remember that the purpose of life insurance is to replace your income (either lump sum or weekly payment) for your dependents if you die or are disabled.
  • DON'T buy an accidental death policy (as offered by mail by many institutions). Most deaths occur as a result of illness (cancer is #1 for women and heart disease is #1 for men).  Accidental cover is only a third of the cover you need.

If you wish to review your insurances and / or investments with us, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0508 237 583 (0508 CFS LTD).
