We’re pleased to report that the new, water pressure boosting system at EdenRidge is now fully operational. This was an important project as we endeavor to expand our facilities in future years.

The new system allows us to offer improved water pressure at our current cabins and will expand water access to the upcoming Welcome Center.

In just four weeks, the Welcome Center will be under construction! The project has been a long time coming and has been the subject of significant planning, design, and fundraising.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the team that God has assembled for the project. This is by far the largest construction project ever undertaken at EdenRidge and is a game-changer! Special features include:

  • A grand lobby that incorporates a check-in area, a guest lounge, a fireplace, an in-wall salt-water aquarium, and a general store. These will be located in the center of the building.
  • A multi-purpose meeting room and a catering kitchen that will be ideal for groups of 30-40 guests. These will be located in the right wing of the building.
  • A board room, three offices, and four bathrooms will be located in the left wing of the building.
  • Surrounding the building will be a new park that will include a great lawn, four waterfalls, a propane fire pit, a pavilion, walking paths, and benches.

A $100,000 matching grant has been very generously pledged to help with the cost of the Welcome Center. This means that every dollar donated in the coming months, up to $100,000, will be matched dollar for dollar!

If you have ever considered donating to EdenRidge, this would be the perfect opportunity to double your donation! To learn more or to make a pledge, please visit

Thank you in advance for your donation!

Janette Sullivan serves with SEND International ( in Siberia, Russia.  Their vision is to make disciples among the unreached.

She and her teammates are serving amongst the Buryat.  They are the largest unreached people group in Siberia, who are Tibetan Buddhist by religion.  The vision of her and her team is to see Buryat churches started.  Then, ultimately, to see the Buryat people reach and teach their own people with the Gospel.

Currently, Janette is part of a church planting team in the outskirts of the city.  She states, “We are in the beginning stages and our main focus is to develop relationships with the people in our community.”

While Janette was back in the States for some rest, she visited EdenRidge.  Janette sent us this note.  “I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful time of rest at EdenRidge this past week. I was only there for a couple of days, but wished it could have been longer. The cabin was beautiful and so comfortable and the place overall is breathtaking! I love all the hiking available in that area and the peace and quiet that EdenRidge provides. Next time I’m on home service from the mission field, I will most likely be visiting EdenRidge again! Thank you.”

Janette’s vision to teach the Buryat people the Gospel so that they can teach their own people the Gospel emanates the work of the disciples.  Please take a moment to pray for Janette and her team as they carry out this calling in Siberia, Russia.

When you ask a missionary why they do what they do, their first answer is usually, God put a calling on my life.  The second is almost always, because there was a need.

Matthew 9: 35-38

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

All you have to do is scroll through social media feeds or listen to the news and you will agree that the ‘needs’ in this world are great. For the hungry to be fed, homes to be built, education to be taught and most of all, for the Gospel to reach the unreached.

At EdenRidge, we’ve met many of you that have seen those needs and have stated a resounding, “Yes, Lord.  I will go.”   It is our prayer that the harvest field will continue to be filled to the brim with workers that will assist you in your calling.

Creatively His, Sue:)
