Technical Orientation at JAARS,
COMPLETED!!!
3 and a half months of Technical Orientation was a success. 7 pilots and 5 families are now prepared to head to fields around the world to spread the Gospel to the farthest unreached areas. Praise the Lord! Kenya, Indonesia, Congo, Cameroon, Australia and Brazil. It was an honor and blessing to get to know these guys and their families as we made our final preparation for the life and work God has called us to.
We first want to thank all of you for your constant continual prayer and support for us. Your financial sacrifice has gotten us to this point. We praise God for each and every one of you. It has been a long journey of preparation, but in 5 days we start a new chapter with our feet on the soil of the continent God laid on our hearts 4 years ago. Preparation for this started farther back than we can remember. Preparation to serve our Lord and Savior and to take his Word and love to places that might not otherwise hear.
Lines, Lines, waiting in lines ...
You know, summertime is the time of year for line-ups. At amusement parks, water-slides ... line-ups. And we tend to size up the length of the line to determine if the ride is worth precious time in line. Three years ago, we wanted to be in the Express Lane and head to the front of the line to Africa. We thought we were ready. God knew better. He knew we had faces to meet and grow to love, and hearts that would be coming with us. He knew the spiritual and knowledge growth that we would need not just to survive, but thrive. He's deepened our roots in fertile soil, pruned dead branches, and trained us to reach for the Light. NOW we're ready to go.

Next Stop ... Nairobi, Kenya
We are excited and honored to represent you, our sending family, to the people of Kenya. To love them, as Jesus loves them and also as you have loved us. To show them light in a lost, dark world. To give them hope and a future.
On July 11, we depart Atlanta, GA for Kenya with 2 other families and 2 singles. We have had the joy of getting to know one of the families over the last few months. Dan and Lesli have 4 kids of which two are Renee and Ian's age. This is a huge blessing for each of us to have friends to travel with. Dan and Joel will be working together at AIM AIR. Apon arrival in Nairobi we will spend a few days recovering from jet lag before heading to Machakos 3 hours east of Nairobi. We will be there for 3 weeks attending our Africa Based Orientation.
We continually Praise God for the formation of our prayer and financial team.
