I would like to give warm thanks to my fellow Trustees, our Associate Artists, Curators and Researchers, Members and Subscribers for their support in the past year.
Much has been achieved through partnership working with colleagues in the UK and abroad, notably with art.earth at Dartington Hall in Devon over the Global Nomadic Art Project and the Science Walden project, both of which involve other partners in South Korea. We have been very active in the development of the Global Network of Water Museums which originated in Venice; some projects are already being developed for the coming Biennale, and others in India. Closer links are also being established with Bath Spa University.
We were delighted that CCANW was listed in the Top 10 UK arts initiatives which engage with the sciences and with climate change. Also, that the 2018 Nick Reeves Award was made to that notable arts and environmental organisation, Common Ground. This award is made annually in association with the Arts and Environment Network of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environment Management
Unfortunately, neither CCANW nor art.earth currently receive any public funding. We currently have 118 individuals and organisations who have joined our joint Membership Scheme, and this helps support our work and provides benefits to Members. We would really welcome anyone who values receiving this free Bulletin (circulation 3750) to consider the mutual benefits of Membership – it would make a great difference to what we can achieve together in this New Year.

Clive Adams,
Founding Director, CCANW
