Her full time job and passion is her work- she owns a boutique consulting company, Rodriguez and Associates LLC whose mission is to enhance the performance of women by promoting gender
integration. The result of her work is directly linked to bottom line improvement. She has worked extensively in South America, Eastern Europe and the USA.
Some of the companies she has been directly involved with are: Microsoft, GSK, KPMG, PPG,
Westinghouse, INPO, UniCredit, EQT, Giant Eagle, DOW, Bombardier, and Kennametal to name a few.
She also offers Coaching and Mentoring programs for the University of Pittsburgh’s Executive Leadership Program, in Sao Paulo, Brazil for global companies like Dow, Google, Motorola, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Caterpillar, in Prague, Czech Republic for Deloitte, CEZ, ABB.
She serves as lead faculty for the prestigious Women’s Executive Leadership program offered by the Beard Institute at Duquesne University, now in its 8th year. As lead faculty, Elisabet was instrumental in developing a curriculum that propels high performing women towards the C-Suite. Participants come from regional and global Fortune 500 companies.
Her book – Can You Afford to Ignore Me? How to Manage Gender and Cultural Differences at Work, has received glowing reviews:
This book is very well written and has an amazing amount of clarity around the gender issues. I find it refreshing to read a perspective that is honest and not about pitting men against women, but finding the balance for the best co-leading in the workplace. I have worked in the human capital industry for the past 20 years and this conversation is overdue - Elisabet has created the framework for this conversation through her research and insights. This is a must read for both men and women in the workplace.
Her current stretch assignment is Flamenco dancing!

We hope to make this semester much better than the Fall. Here are some pictures that we wanted to share to the division from our Cervical Cancer Bake Sale. It was pretty successful considering the size of our group and the cold weather. We donated half of our profits to an organization called Grounds for Health, an organization targeted to bring awareness about cervical cancer prevention for women in developing nations.
