Kerry Nicholls Dance presents
PERFORMANCE MENTORING PROGRAMME 2015
Are you 4-5 years into your career and needing some new motivation, input and direction?
Now in its second year, the successful KND Performance Mentoring Programme 2015 is open for application.
The KND Performance Mentoring Programme
– the first of its kind in the UK – is a four-month scheme that boosts dancers mid-career, who are no longer supported by an educational institution, by providing tools to navigate the ever-changing job landscape.
Implemented by a unique team of expert teachers and artists, the programme begins with a two-week studio-intensive, including classical and contemporary technique, choreography, voice, yoga, audition techniques, CV/show reel advice, network opportunities and professional development seminars.
Continuing on from the studio-intensive, Kerry Nicholls will regularly mentor each participant on a one-to-one basis for a further three months. This is devised to encourage and confront current practice within a person-centered structure, supporting new thinking and artistic development.
“The confidence gained and the focus I re-directed on my training and career helped me to present myself with new-found awareness and positivity… I have found four jobs since the programme."
