Updated MS Teams Meeting toolbar
Have you noticed changes to how meetings look in your MS Teams client? Many online technologies used for teaching and learning provided by the University are updated on a regular basis and new features are continuously added.
The meeting toolbar in MS Teams Meetings now shows separate buttons for reactions, hand raising, and view options, making it more intuitive to use the features and settings you want. The View menu includes options such as gallery, together mode, gallery at top, and focus on content. The different views give participants greater flexibility of what appears on the screen by, for example, displaying just the presentation slides without participant videos. As a meeting participant, choose from these display options to help manage cognitive load and view the content that is pertinent to your class meeting. Other settings are still available under the More options menu, which opens a drop-down menu with additional meeting settings. Visit the CTSI website’s Microsoft Teams Meetings page for information on other features.
