Capital Area Justice Ministry Talk Tomorrow

Leah Wiley (lead organizer of the Capital Area Justice Ministry), Rabbi Michael Shields (Rabbi of Temple Israel), and Rev. James Houston (Pastor of Bethelonia A.M.E. church) will discuss CAJM's background and plans to work toward its goal of bringing people together across racial, religious, and socioeconomic lines to pursue justice in Tallahassee.

Calling All 4th-12th Graders! Acolytes Needed!

We are eager to get our Acolyte program back up and running, and we need YOU! What is an acolyte you might ask? Well, they are children and youth that serve during the worship service by lighting and extinguishing the candles at the start and finish of worship. They are responsible for bringing the light of God into our worship space, and then carrying it out into the world. Our congregation loves to see our children and youth involved in worship, and this is a very special way to do so. Interested in learning more? BFC – Becoming Fit at Church Class Schedule (via ZOOM)
  • Staying Strong – Tues/Thurs 9:30 a.m. – easy, gentle exercise including flexibility. Seated or standing. Beginner or returning to exercise.
  • Variety Mix – Tues/Thurs 11:00 a.m. – full body work out using a variety of equipment. Intermediate to Advanced.
  • Flexibility for a Better YOU – Mon 9:45 a.m./Thurs 12:15 p.m. – foam rolling followed by full body stretching. Mat/Floor flexibility.
  • BFO  -  Becoming Fit Outdoors – Wed 6:30 p.m. –- Family and pet (on a leash) friendly walking/hiking at your own pace. Meets outdoors on a different Tallahassee Trail each week.
