The nation’s hospital and health care leaders marked the investiture of Jonathan Perlin, M.D. (M.D.’90/M; Ph.D.’91/M; H.S.’96/M; M.S.H.A.’97/AHP), as 2015 chairman of the AHA Board of Trustees at a May 3 ceremony held at the National Academy of Sciences. Read more.

The Department of Health Administration presented “Leaders on Leadership” to students and guests March 31. The program was sponsored by the School of Allied Health Professions in cooperation with the Division of Internal Medicine in the VCU School of Medicine. Read more.

Alumni Board MemberMarilyn Tavenner (M.H.A.’89/AHP) was appointed to the board of directors for Lifepoint Hospitals. Tavenner is the former administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Read more.
