THANK YOU!!!

NJ Bus Driver Joanne Ciccotelli & Her Students Thank S-211 & A-3798 Sponsors for Their Commitment to School Bus Safety

Dennis Township school bus driver, Joanne Ciccotelli, and her elementary school students (pictured above) are thanking S-211 sponsors, Senators James Holzapfel and Jim Whelan, as well as A-3798 sponsors, Assembly Members Troy Singleton (D-7), Gregory McGuckin (D-10) and David Wolfe (D-10) for their commitment to school bus safety.

S-211 & A-3798 would help make a safer commute to and from school for Joanne's kids as well as thousands of K-12 students who take one of New Jersey's 23,000 buses over the course of a 180 day school year.

These potentially life-saving bills would allow school districts and local law enforcement to deploy school bus arm safety cameras on the exterior of school buses to capture video of drivers illegally passing stopped buses and issue citations to drivers caught breaking the law and putting kids’ safety at risk.
