We hope all that attended the ice fishing derby this year had a good time. 138 adults and children participated in Froggie's Annual Ice Fishing Derby, it made for a long day for the volunteers, BUT! it was well worth it because of the perfect turnout.
Froggie's 23rd Annual event was certainly a success! Thank you to all that attended and stayed for lunch and the raffles. Also an extremely big thank you to our crew, we are looking forward to the 24 Annual next February!

The spring clean-up dates are set for March 23rd and 24th (if needed). There is a sign-up sheet at the Hall for anyone in the Village who needs assistance with spring clean up.
We gather at 9 a.m. SaturdayMarch 23rd to begin. A light lunch will be provided and drinks will be available. The spring landscape waste pick up by our garbage removal provider is March 26th so all the debris will be removed in a few days.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is always looking for volunteers to help with this project. If you're interested, there will be a sign up sheet at the Hall for you. -Froggie
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is starting a new program to support our graduating high school students as well as adults returning to class. This program will be available beginning fall semester of 2019. Guidelines and application forms are available at the Hall for anyone interested.

Officer/Author Dennis Durbin held a very special book signing at the Village Hall on 02/20/2019 for his newly published work.
The Easter Bunny will be making a return to our beach this year.....
The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 14th at 1:00 P.M.SHARP. Come join us for some family fun, ages 12 and under are welcome to participate in the hunt. NOTE
Please don't be tardy, the hunt begins promptly at 1:00 P.M. and the eggs are generally scooped up within 3 minutes! -Froggie
Join the 9th annual McHenry County Human Race!
The McHenry Human Race is a unique 5K family walk/run at MCC that supports volunteerism and local nonprofits!
Runners/walkers sign up to participate for their favorite charity, and part of their registration fee and any funds they choose to raise go to their selected organization.
Our Helping Hands chose their charity for the upcoming Human Race.
We'll be raising funds for NWCASA (North West Coalition Against Sexual Assault) to help sexual assault victims.

Leaf burning is NOT permittedin the Village of McCullom Lake. Violators will receive one warning, then will be ticketed for continued offenses.
Fireworks Fireworks are not allowed in the Village of McCullom Lake. Violators will be ticketed.
Please remember not to place garbage containers out before 4:00 PM on Mondays before garbage removal, and to have them put away by 11:55 PM after garbage has been picked up. This ordinance will be police-enforced.
Please note that 20 mph is the speed limit on all village streets. The McCullom Lake police strictly enforce this law for the safety of our residents. In addition, a stop sign means a completeSTOP!
Remember the Village Hall is available to rent wherever there are openings. Prices vary from being a village resident, or not. Other prices vary as well so if anyone is interested please stop at the Village Hall for more information!

The Village Hall is staffed Monday-Friday, from 9-5. With the exception of Wednesdays, we have extended hours from
5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
If you still cannot make it to the village within those hours, and need to drop a payment or anything else off, feel free to drop it in our drop box, located right outside. (little black box)

There is an MC Ride station at the parking lot by the Village Hall. If you need a ride, you can call 1-800-451-4599. Service hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Base fare is only $2.00 for the first 5 miles of your trip (add 25 cents per mile for each additional mile).
