The Village office will be closed on the following dates:

*Friday, Nov. 10th for Veteran's Day*
*Thursday, Nov. 23rd and Friday, Nov. 24th for Thanksgiving *
*Monday, Dec. 25th and Tuesday, Dec. 26th for Christmas*
*Monday, Jan. 1st and Tuesday, Jan. 2nd for New Years*




The last leaf pick-up for the season will be

Please have leaves at the curb by 6:00 AM Monday morning.

PREMISE ALERT PROGRAM

The Village of McCullom Lake has instituted a new voluntary community outreach program. The new Premise Alert Program is designed to assist residents in the event of an emergency situation.  Read more about it on our website

The mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors is to help people in the Village of McCullom Lake who may be in need of assistance for various reasons.  We are always looking for new faces with fresh ideas. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday evening of the month unless otherwise posted.

VILLAGE REMINDERS

Fireworks

Fireworks are not allowed in the Village of McCullom Lake. Violators will be ticketed.
Garbage Cans
Please remember not to place garbage containers out before 4:00 PM on Tuesdays before garbage removal, and to have them put away by 11:55 PM  after garbage has been picked up.  This ordinance will be police-enforced
Leaf Burning
Leaf burning is not permitted in the Village of McCullom Lake.  Violators will receive one warning, then will be ticketed for continued offenses.
Speed Limit
Please note that 20 mph is the speed limit on all village streets.  The McCullom Lake police strictly enforce this law for the safety of our residents.  In addition, a stop sign means a complete STOP!

 With so many nonprofit organizations within McHenry County, finding help can be confusing. United Way 2-1-1 provides an easy way to access help with challenges.  Dialing 2-1-1 from any phone will connect you to a cell center that will direct you to the right social service agency or nonprofit organization. Trained specialists can help and offer information and referrals for services such as rent and utility assistance, food banks, affordable housing, child and elder care, financial counseling, job training and more.  2-1-1 is easy to remember, accessible to everyone, available 24/7/365 and is FREE!

There is an MC Ride station at the parking lot by the Village Hall.  If you need a ride, you can call 1-800-451-4599.  Service hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Base fare is only $2.00 for the first 5 miles of your trip (add 25 cents per mile for each additional mile).  If you need more information, or have questions, stop by the Village office and pick up a brochure, or call 815-334-4985.
