Yearbook Chair Urgently Needed
The PTSA needs a parent, or duo, or team to chair the yearbook committee and help with curation, organization, and taking photos at events. Please email PTA President Judy Hunter to volunteer.
Parent Help Needed: Clubs
Our clubs allow our students to be active and creative outside of class. We already have many club applications turned in, and verified sponsors lined up, ready to start - but we don't have a point person. Unfortunately, our teacher who planned to do this, cannot take on this role at this time.

Our immediate need is for a parent leader, co-leader, or team to help with the following:
  • Organize monthly club check-in meetings
  • Be the point of contact for adult sponsors of clubs
  • Schedule rooms on campus for club meetings.
Please email our office email if you are interested in leading or co-leading our club organization. As a reward you will hear happy laughter and appreciation from our students and you can even create your own title - Club Czar? Captain of the Clubs? Rescuer of Extra-Curricular Excitement?

Parent Academy: Screenagers
Thanks to those families who took part in viewing and discussing Screenagers at IVA. And many thanks to Mary Van Geffen for organizing this event! To keep the dialogue open, please enjoy this Family Discussion Guide. It's perfect for family dinner time. It includes links to a sample media contract and quizzes to help you determine if your child is becoming addicted to social media or video games. You can also get ideas for Tech Talk Tuesdays here.
