Connecting Cities (and Continents) to Christ from the United Kingdom
1st-3rd Qtr. 2019 Newsletter
Rev Allison Mitchell Associate Missionary UPCI

Greetings in Jesus’s Name!

We have been having some INCREDIBLE breakthroughs in the United Kingdom!  The Lord has been connecting hearts to His vision to reach His people.

We had close to 1,300 in attendance for our UPC GB&I 50th Jubilee in Llandudno, Wales this August!  I believe this is just the beginning of the mighty outpouring He has for our isles.  It was beautiful to see people of all ages and nationalities worshipping the Creator and those filled with His Spirit!  My heart cannot erase the memory of the congregation pouring to the altar to commit to reaching our nations through prayer, evangelism, and church planting in our Missions Service.  Only eternity will tell the fruit of those personal consecrations to carry truth to the unreached cities of England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

Our National Prayer walks with UPC GBI Missions Department had a record attendance also this Summer in Oxford, and we were blessed to take a team from AIM UKI to Luxembourg on our first Embark short-term Missions trip!   The Lord opened some incredible doors!  We had the opportunity to have a powerful worship service  right outside the Grand Ducal Palace where the Spirit of God touched many (and where the EME Prayer Team prayed for open doors in April!) from all walks of life.   Our host Missionaries Rev Jeremy and Sis Khrista Favors (and Kinsey!) received over 35 contacts in one weekend (another record) and the AYC team that followed us got to pray some of them through to the Holy Ghost!   Thank God for the unity we are seeing across Europe!  I truly believe this is just the beginning of the revival waiting for Europe Middle East Region as we operate in unity and Apostolic authority   (We even managed to sneak in a Military Ministries Commission Meeting in Luxembourg.)

Liberty Worship Centre has continued to grow and we were so excited to have one of our English brethren, Bro John, receive his Christian Worker’s License.  We were blessed by the ministries of Sis Eleanor Sillerico (Life Tabernacle and AIM UKIer) and Bro Terrence and Sis Rene Rogers (Life Tabernacle, London,) Rev Michael McBride and Bro Mateo Garcia (AIM Latvia,) Rev Amber Zellers and her family (Overseas Military Ministries EME) and Rev George Duke (Florida and former Missionary to UK.)  We’ve had some great times of fellowship, including worship by the seaside, complete with a dramatisation  of Jesus Feeding the Five Thousand (except we used fish and chips,) and the little people leading in worship!  It’s exciting to see lives being transformed by Jesus and we are expecting greater things at LWC!

Our National Women’s Conference was also record breaking with our first baptism at a Women’s Conference! It was so beautiful to see this young lady come up out of the water speaking in other tongues!   There was a profound move of the Holy Ghost in the sessions, and I’m incredibly grateful to our Ladies Leader, Sis Bethann Gadd, and her team, and SIs Jennifer Cobb, who ministered, for leading this incredible event.  I also had fun teaching on Evangelism with my friend Sis Naomi Eijofor, and worshipping with the team!  Don’t ask me how the PowerPoint went… we could use some AIMers over here, let’s just say that :)  The volunteers from AIM UKI that helped us out, you all are amazing!

Records, records, records!  From our organisation receiving it’s CIO account, to record attendance at events in all departments, it’s with joy we see the Kingdom work advancing in the United Kingdom!   Along with records, it’s been travel, travel, and more travel, between promoting AIM UKI and Missions at our District Conferences in London, Nottingham and Sunderland, and attending (and helping with translation, yay!) the EME Ladies Conference in Athens, Greece (Thank you SO MUCH to the churches that sponsored me to attend!  My life was so impacted!) and teaching at the Bible School in Prague (Thank you Missionaries Rev Matt and Sis Angie Buckland for having me!  Those students are amazing!) where I also got to preach (Thank you Pastor and Sis Zumar!)  Central Europe has continued to be in my prayers and my heart!  Not to mention Latvia, where I got to connect with some INCREDIBLE youth and AIMers, and Missionaries (Thank you Anna P for being the best host, even if I did get more excited once I realised Riga was an ancient capital of the Scandinavian Empire, and Missionaries Shutes for the invitation and opportunity to observe the work there.)  I’m so grateful to see God opening doors He promised me many years ago, in the work He is doing in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Beyond that, in this year of open doors, I was privileged to represent the EME Overseas Military Ministries Commission at the Asia Military Ministries 40th Anniversary in Japan!  The Missionary team there is incredible, and it was so exciting to connect with members from Japan, HK, Korea and Okinawa, as well as some familiar faces from the UK and LWC!   Thank you OMM Coordinator, Missionary Rev Fonzell Marsh for this opportunity, and Rev Tyeshia Marsh (Assoc. Missionary) for letting me sing with AIMer Rev Brandy Swinarton and Rev Keith Smith and team!   God has mighty things in store for Asia!       I also got to experience the power of God in the Middle East for the first time this year, in Jordan, for the Declare EME Prayer event.  Thank you Sis Kelley for your excellent leadership at this event.  Life changing.   The Gospel works in every nation!

I never would have imagined when I stepped out of my front door as a teenager all of the doors that God would open, and the lives that would be changed. I am grateful to have served in this region for 12 years (and for 10 years as a UPCI Licensed Minister this year, time flies!)  All I can say is THANK YOU.  Thank God for calling me, and using me, His people for believing in, and sending me, the wonderful Missionary and National teams that have invested in and served with me.  To all of the AIMers and AIM UKI Team, and Military Ministries Members that have worked alongside me to see His vision come to pass, thank you!  Without your prayers, sacrifice and giving none of this would be possible.  I’m excited about what’s Next!  I’m quite sure it will be unprecedented revival, and I’m so humbled to be a part of it

PS:

Visa Update!  Every so often the Immigration winds blow in our favour, and I am grateful that I can begin this process this month, but also that there may be a reduction of the extensive costs by at least $1,000 due to changes in Immigration Law.  This is still a highly expensive process due to legal fees, and the level of application, but I’m believing for the Lord to provide the roughly £4,500 (about $6,000, depending on the exchange rate) for this process.  Thank you to those that have already given towards this, and towards the need in my budget this year due to the travel restrictions I have on deputising due to this situation.   There is still a lot to be raised in both of these areas, and if you’d like to consider giving towards it, you may do so by clicking on this link or by sending a designated offering to UPCI Account No: 189429.  I would so appreciate anything you can do.   I also need about 10 new Partners in Missions at $35 per month to assist with these costs, and if you'd like to find out how to partner with me, please to ask me how!  Your giving makes my GO possible!  Again, thank you to every existing PIM that has supported this journey to reach UK for Jesus!  ¡Mucho Apreciado!
