MESSAGE FROM THE SENIOR PASTOR

Several months ago, I asked you to join with me in praying for a new season of the tangible work of God. I have been encouraged by the number of people who have let me know that they have been praying diligently for this since that time.

This coming Sunday we are returning to that call to prayer in a sermon series entitled “Refresh” where I am hoping that we will experience a renewal of our commitment to the central features of our vision and purpose. Beginning Sunday we will look at four commitments: the goodness of the good news, the promise of personal transformation, the reality of God’s invitation to join him in his work and to join in with courage and hope.

I am looking forward to this series and the opportunity it will provide us to discuss where we feel God is leading us and what the next season may look like.

I am more and more convinced that as we join together in prayer the Lord will lead us into what he has prepared for us. I refuse to believe that his plan for the church to pass slowly into irrelevance, but that it is his divine plan to bring restoration and renewal to the world as we participate with his Spirit.

Even if you are not able to be present over the next month, make sure you listen to the podcasts and join in this movement of prayer.
