It's time to apply for a Spring Grant!



QVNA's Community Grant Program provides funds that help improve the quality of life of Queen Village residents.  We accept grant requests for a wide range of projects and programs, such as enhancing parks, gardens, playgrounds, educational programs, neighborhood safety, clean & green projects, and historic preservation.
 
Eligibility:  Established groups of volunteers,  “Friends of” groups, community gardens, schools, facilities and organizations that impact Queen Village and its residents.

Evaluation Criteria:  The QVNA Grants Committee evaluates applications based on the:

  1. Degree to which the proposed project meets a community need;
  2. Clarity of the project description;
  3. Budget detail that reflects well-defined needs and reasonable costs; and
  4. Capacity of applicant organization to complete the project.
Application Deadline: March 1, 2019 at noon. 

Recipients of Spring Grants will be announced at QVNA's May 2019 Community Meeting.

QVNA provides community stewardship, advocacy and service.
QVNA serves residents of Queen Village to strengthen the community by providing a forum for public discussion of issues of concern and interest, supporting improvements to our neighborhood, our schools and our city, facilitating understanding and use of public services, and acting as a channel of communication with city officials and elected representatives. QVNA relies on dozens of volunteer members to lead the association and advance its work.

Queen Village is bounded by the south side of Lombard St to the north side of Washington Ave,
and the east side of 6th St to the Delaware River piers.
