Everyone at El Cerrito Trail Trekkers hopes to see you at this year’s July 4 WorldOne Festival. The festival, long the city’s largest annual event, is back after two years, when it closed due to Covid.

It runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cerrito Vista Park, on Moeser Lane at Pomona Avenue, by the Contra Costa Civic Theater and near the Community Center.

Besides the stage filled with entertainment, there are activities for children, arts and crafts and other vendor booths, food of course --- and Trail Trekkers. Stop by our booth, on the main field near the baseball field.

Learn about our upcoming hikes, examine a large scale map of all of the trails and public pathways in town, both within the Hillside Natural Area and in our neighborhoods. Learn about plans to install trail signs, and talk to us about efforts to improve habitat throughout our city.

You can buy your own trail map – or even join Trail Trekkers.
